Hopetoun Child Care & Early Years Services Update

In Venue Care Update

We are pleased to advise the Hopetoun Community that Kids Family Day Care has submitted an application to the Department of Education to enable In Venue Care to operate from our Early Years Centre in Hopetoun.  We are awaiting the outcome of the assessment. Initially we were hoping for in venue care to be operational in September 2024, however depending on the approval process, it may not be until late October 2024. We will keep the community updated on the progress.

Childcare Licence Update

Emerge received advice to complete a new service application (opposed to a transfer of service).  The process is quite involved and lengthy and is currently being worked through and is in the early stages of development to be submitted.  We are working to provide information as required, in a timely manner to assist with this process.

Kindergarten Transfer to Emerge

We are working closely with Emerge and the Department of Education on the transfer out of Kindergarten Services at Hopetoun / Beulah to be enacted by the 2025 Kindergarten year.  We are continuing with business as usual with the aim of it being a seamless process with no effect on families and children.
