• Voting is compulsory for all voters who were on the roll for this election

  by 4 pm on Wednesday 7 August 2024.

• Each voter has one vote in a council area, regardless of how many entitlements you may have in that area.
• If you moved house and didn’t update your address by 4 pm on Wednesday 7 August 2024, your ballot pack will be addressed to your old address. If you don’t have a mail redirection

in place, please contact 131 832.

How do I vote?

You will receive a ballot pack in the mail*.

Not every person in the household will get

a ballot pack at the same time. Ensure you use the ballot pack in your name.

1. On the ballot paper put the number 1 in the box next to the candidate you most want to see elected, then number all the other boxes in

   order of your choice. You must number every box

   and only use each number once.

2. Place your completed ballot paper in the ballot paper envelope and seal it.
3. Sign the back of the ballot paper envelope.

   If you are not able to sign, ask someone to check the instructions on the ballot paper envelope

   to see if they can sign for you.

4. Place the ballot paper envelope in the reply-paid envelope and seal it.
5. Post it straight away. Your vote must be in

the mail or hand delivered to the election office by 6 pm on Friday 25 October 2024.
